Medical and Safety precautions for Woods Stocks
  • Please wear shoes and have the shoe secured around the foot, which is tennis shoes, sandal with straps, hiking boots, any shoe secured around the foot, DO NOT WEAR FLIP-FLOPS. Do not wear shoes that have a smooth sole they are dangerous, shoes should have rubber soles or a tread for good footing. Wear high heels in the dungeon, however, wear a secure shoe to and from the campsite or hotel, and into the dungeon. Once you have arrived in the dungeon change into dress shoes, on leaving the dungeon change back into your secured shoes.

  • Wear street clothes on main grounds. Allowed during the daylight hour, nudity in the main building, shower, wooded and campsite area. Allowed during dungeon hours, nudity and fetish wear. Remember the evening can get cool, bring a lightweight jacket or cover up.

  • Nature does not always provide perfect weather, so prepare for hot steamy days as well as rain and cool weather.

  • In the spring we spray the grounds for poison and insects, however it is wise to bring repellent as well as sun block. The products with deet are effective, but a product with the ingredient picardin 7% is comparable to deet 10% and may be less irritating to skin. Apply sunscreen first, then the repellent.

  • We suggest everyone carry a first aid kit. Buy first aid kits at any retail store for about $3. - $5. If you take meds by prescription, bring an enough supply covering the duration of your stay. Bring your own over-the-counter pain relievers, such as aspirin, Tylenol, and ibuprofen.

  • If you plan to take a walk or hike into the wooded area, wear secured shoes, cover your arms and legs the bushes have briars, and do not go into the woods alone.

  • Open food will attract insects, therefore, keep all food in a zip lock bag and do not throw food on the ground.

  • We will have med techs available during the event providing basic first aid. All other medical problems will need to go to the local hospital.

  • If anyone plans an extreme scene, tell the DM also alert the med techs.

  • Water, soda, coffee and tea, are provided during the event. However it is wise to bring extra drinks and small snacks for you.

  • This is your event, have fun, explore the woods, have someone tie you to the trees, relax and enjoy the surroundings, and please be careful the grounds are for your enjoyment.
